The spokesman for North Dakota Highway Patrol can’t figure out why it was wrong for authorities to shoot water at Dakota Access Pipeline protesters in freezing weather.
“I don’t see what the big deal is,” Lt. Tom Iverson said in an interview on WDAY Radio. “It’s water.”
Let us explain. When it’s really fucking cold out — like in the 20s, as it was Sunday night at the site of the protests — and then you get sprayed with water, it makes you really, really fucking cold. Hypothermia-level cold.
Do you get it now, Tom?
