State Sen. Janne Myrdal has some unusual priorities when it comes to flags.
Last month, we revealed that the Republican from Edinburg had shared the image of a gay pride flag emblazoned with a swastika on her personal Facebook page. She quickly deleted it after we pointed it out.
Fast forward to yesterday. The Senate considered a bill to display the flags of all the Indian Nations in North Dakota at the state Capitol. Myrdal voted “no,” and the bill failed 21-23.
Myrdal is cool with a gay Nazi flag. But a tribal flag? No thanks.
We’ve asked Myrdal to comment and will update with any response.
